Rumor: Johnny Mundo Considering Joining NJPW in the Future

John Hennigan (Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground, John Morrison in WWE) is reported to be currently interested in working for New Japan Pro Wrestling within the near future, according to the Wrestling Observer.

The Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported there has been recent interest from Hennigan in regards to the idea of working in NJPW due to the company’s growing popularity worldwide. Meltzer also reported Hennigan’s association with Mexico’s AAA promotion will be his biggest obstacle on getting a potential deal done due to NJPW’s current working relationship with CMLL and them rarely using or signing stars from AAA for their events.
