Shawn Michaels Comments on the Possibility of Him Wrestling One More Match

Sky Sports held a recent interview with Shawn Michaels and one of the topics discussed involved Michaels’ thoughts on the possibility of coming out of retirement for one more match in the future..

“It would have to be done the right way and just for one match rather than something that ran for longer. It could be possible but people would have to accept they wouldn’t be getting the Showstopper, Mr WrestleMania, and that I’m 52 years old now.”

During the interview, Michaels teased if he were to have one more match, he would like either Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, or Johnny Gargano to be his opponent.

Michaels’ final match of his career was against The Undertaker in a Streak vs. Career match at WrestleMania 26 in 2010. Since then, he has appeared periodically on WWE television in non-wrestling roles and currently works as a trainer for WWE’s Performance Center.
