Ronda Rousey Comments on Her Wrestling Debut in Madison Square Garden

Ronda Rousey made her official wrestling debut at Madison Square Garden during a house show last Saturday. She emerged victorious against Nia Jax in a Guest Referee match with Alexa Bliss and Mickie James as the special guest referees.

In a recent Instagram posting, Rousey reflected on the feelings she had following her wrestling debut at the historic arena.

“There are no words…. thank you New York and MSG for a night I’ll never forget. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry like a baby at the end of last night… happy tears, but what a whirlwind past few days have been…. I’m humbled, grateful, and far from finished”


WWE Files Trademark for New Clothing Brand

WWE recently filed a new trademark for the term “Top Rope” for goods and services purposes mainly in regards to clothing, possibly for a clothing brand. This trademark was filed on June 28th and officially received on July 3rd by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas.”

ROH announced that their next event at the UMBC Center arena in Baltimore, Maryland will be held on October 13th. This was the location of last month’s Best in the World 2018 event featuring a Triple Threat match for the ROH World Championship.

ITV announced that their new World of Sport series will be officially debuting on July 28th in the United Kingdom.

PROGRESS Wrestling announced that the card of their August 12th event in Livonia, Michigan features a singles match of Jimmy Havoc versus TK Cooper.
