Triple H Claims Johnny Gargano Is Injured
In a post-TakeOver media call, Triple H seemed to claim that Johnny Gargano was legitimately injured and the finish was not the one that was actually planned.
According to PWInsider, Triple H said that he wasn’t planning on Gargano hurting himself and they changed the ending on the fly.
I’m not sure if I actually believe him, though, since the ending seemed very planned, with Gargano removing his knee pad, etc. Mauro Ranallo said that Gargano had a “dislocated knee” like a minute after he “injured” himself, which seems pretty quick to give an injury prognosis.
Pete Dunne and Ricochet Cross Paths
WWE posted this video of Pete Dunne “crossing paths” with Ricochet and saying “You carry a piece of gold that I want.” That should be a great match, whenever it happens.

He’s been in China shooting a movie with Jackie Chan called Project X.
First time in 15 years I have not been able to be a part of @WWE #SummerSlam. I am beyond grateful to @EyeOfJackieChan but truly miss the @WWEUniverse. Wishing all Superstars luck and safety! My time isn’t quite up, but #YourTimeIsNow! #CarpeDiem
