Johnny Gargano Isn’t Really Injured
Johnny Gargano is not actually injured, despite Triple H claiming that he suffered a legit knee injury during his TakeOver match against Tommaso Ciampa and that the finish had to be changed on the fly.
Gargano wrestled at the NXT tapings yesterday and was just fine, though he did come out on crutches earlier in the show for a promo, to sell the “injury.” WWE sources also admitted to Dave Meltzer that Triple H was working an angle.
WWE also claimed that Lars Sullivan suffered a broken jaw at the previous TakeOver, which was also just an angle.
New Tommaso Ciampa Theme
Tommaso Ciampa also debuted a new entrance theme and video at the NXT tapings. He had just been coming out to no theme or video, allowing the crowd to relentlessly boo him.
