Kurt Angle was backstage at Raw last night in Toronto, according to PWInsider. That would seem to indicate that he might not actually be taking a legit “vacation.”

Angle has been reportedly training to return to the ring, so it seems like the GM “vacation” might be part of a larger planned storyline and future match for Angle rather than just some time off.

Aleister Black Recovering After Surgery

Aleister Black seems to be recovering well after undergoing surgery on his “groin” area in early August. He suffered an injury after being crotched on the top rope during a house show match against Tommaso Ciampa, and he was forced to miss his match at NXT TakeOver on August 18.

On Instagram, Black posted a video of himself squatting 335 pounds, four weeks after undergoing the surgery.
