In-Ring: William Regal, Undisputed Era

NXT General Manager William Regal makes his way to the ring. He says over the last month, he has investigated the Aleister Black situation and he is getting closer…

The music for the Undisputed Era plays and they make their way to the stage. Adam Cole says here we go again. It is the same routine. You come out each week and not do your job and act like Sherlock Holmes. Aleister Black was put out of commission a few weeks ago and he is still out. That is on you William. You should make sure that these attacks do not happen again. Roderick asks when will you deal with the War Raiders. The champions should not have to deal with these cosplay Vikings. Kyle says he does not feel safe.

William says it is interesting that you three interrupt when he brings up the investigation.

Adam Cole wants to know what is Regal implying. Cole says that you are trying to protect the War Raiders and Ricochet. Cole says that Ricochet is ducking him. You give Pete Dunne a championship match. Adam tells Regal he wants his rematch and he wants it right freaking now.

Regal tells Adam that you never asked for a rematch. In fact, you wanted Pete to soften up Ricochet before asking for your rematch. Then you got involved in their match last week. You thought you could get one by him because of the Aleister Black investigation. You will not get your title match now because it is not fair right now. You also kept Pete Dunne from winning last week and that is not fair. In two weeks, you will get your shot at Ricochet and Pete Dunne in a Triple Threat match. Regal tells Kyle and Roderick that in three weeks, they will defend the tag titles against the War Raiders.


Backstage: Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Lacey Evans

We see Johnny Gargano asked about facing Tony Nese next week. He says he finally feels good about something. He is asked what was he sorry for when he lost to Velveteen Dream. He apologized for not winning the title from Ciampa and now he is seeing clear. You have to be knocked down lower than you ever have to get higher than you ever have. He is not someone to whine and complain. Next week, he becomes the man he wants to be.

Lacey Evans confronts Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano. She says that a real lady and a good wife would fight beside and defend her husband no matter what. Candice tells Lacey not to walk away.

Backstage: Velveteen Dream

We are back and Velveteen Dream is doing a photoshoot and he walks away from an interviewer. He tells Cathy that we talked about how he stole the show in Chicago and in Brooklyn. Do you want to talk about how he beat Johnny Gargano? Dream says he is not going to talk about Johnny Failure. He is not going to talk about the man who is not here or the man who attacked Aleister Black. Cathy asks Dream if he is saying Ciampa attacked Black. Dream says he is not a snitch.


Lars Sullivan vs. Victor Orchant

Sullivan with forearms to Orchant and then he hits a pop up power slam. Sullivan with punches to the midsection and then he hits a clothesline into the corner. Sullivan with a biel and a second one. Sullivan with a third biel and Orchant goes to the floor.

EC3 with a knee to the back and the referee calls for the bell. EC3 clotheslines Sullivan over the top rope and Sullivan lands on his feet. EC3 with jabs and a punch to knock Sullivan off the apron.

Winner: Lars Sullivan (by disqualification)


Backstage: William Regal, Nikki Cross

We are back and William Regal is asked about the Aleister Black investigation. He says he has narrowed it down.

Nikki Cross comes out of William Regal’s office. She says she wants to play with Bianca again. William says he will take it under advisement. Nikki says that she knows as she walks away. William says that Nikki could tell you where the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot is. Nobody knows what Nikki knows.


Street Profits vs. The Mighty

Dawkins punches Thorne before the bell rings and then Dawkins punches Miller as the bell rings. Dawkins with a back body drop and drop kick to Miller. Dawkins with a spinning splash into the corner. Thorne tags in and Dawkins sends Miller into Thorne. Ford makes the tag before Dawkins hits a double bulldog. Ford with a plancha onto Thorne and then he avoids Miller who runs into the ring steps. Ford gets a near fall on Thorne.

Dawkins tags in and he punches Thorne in the midsection. Ford with a forearm to the back. Dawkins runs into a boot but Dawkins with a hot shot. Thorne with a drop kick and he sends Dawkins into the corner. Thorne with punches and then he kicks Angelo. Miller tags in and punches Dawkins. Miller with kicks and a double sledge to the back. Miller with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Miller with a front face lock and Thorne tags in. Miller with a forearm and Thorne with an elbow in the corner.

Thorne with a European uppercut but Dawkins with elbows to get out of the corner. Ford tags in and he clotheslines Miller and Thorne. Ford clotheslines Thorne over the top rope to the floor and then he hits a leg laraiat on Miller. Ford is sent into the ring post shoulder first and falls to the ring steps and he is caught. Thorne with a drop kick to the ring steps while Ford is caught in them.

Miller with a kick to the hamstring and an elbow drop. Miller with more kicks and he tags Thorne back in and Thorne kicks Ford in the leg. Miller tags in and he punches Ford in the back. They set for a double side Russian leg sweep and hit it followed by a kick and clothesline for a near fall. Miller with an Indian Death Lock. Ford with a chop to try to get out of the hold. Miller grabs the hand but Ford with a punch. Miller clips Ford and Thorne tags in and kicks Ford in the leg. Thorne with punches and a European uppercut and kick to the leg. Thorne misses an elbow and hits the turnbuckles. Thorne misses an elbow drop and Ford tries to make the tag. Miller tries to interfere but he goes over the top rope.

Ford and Thorne with clotheslines and both men are down. Dawkins kicks Miller away and Ford lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt but his leg buckles and Thorne with a jackknife cover for the three count.

Winners: The Mighty


Kairi Sane vs. Vanessa Borne in a Non Title Match

Borne puts on Sane’s hat and then kicks it out of the ring. Sane is not in a good mood now. Borne says she is a star and she pushes Sane. Sane pushes back. Sane blocks a forearm and kick and she takes Borne to the mat and follows with an axe kick. Borne with a kick to the midsection and hits a twisting suplex for a near fall. Borne with kicks to the back. Borne with a forearm to the back and she applies a cravate.

Sane with punches and she backs Borne into the corner. Sane with an arm drag to escape. Borne misses a splash into the corner. Sane with a hesitation DDT and double sledge chops. Sane with a spear. Sane with a Sliding D and then she goes to the turnbuckles for the elbow drop and the three count.

Winner: Kairi Sane

After the match, Shayna Baszler makes her way to the stage and then she walks to the ring. Shayna tells Kairi to celebrate with that title while she can because the clock is going to run out on her. You won in Brooklyn and Shayna says that one hurt her. She says she is not going to take it out on Kairi now. Shayna says she is invoking her rematch clause. Shayna says she promises that she will drown her, drop anchor on this championship reign, and take back her title. Sane tells Shayna she can have her rematch at Evolution. Kairi says she will beat Shayna again.


Backstage: Keith Lee, Kona Reeves

We are back and we see Keith Lee walking in the back and he is asked about being undefeated. Keith says that after going undefeated, you have to look for gold.

We see Kona Reeves in a photo shoot and he says he does not want to be bothered. Kona says everyone is talking about Keith but he does not see anything limitless about him. Kona says he is NXT’s Finest. Kona pulls his hand away from Keith when he tries to shake it. Kona tells Keith to wait for his turn.

Keith says he has been turning heads around NXT while Kona has the finest set of losses in NXT. If you want to talk down to him, let’s meet in the ring so Kona can have the honor and privilege to bask in his glory.


Next Week

Next week, the Forgotten Sons will be in action and we will see Lars Sullivan vs. EC3.


Tommaso Ciampa vs. Otiz Dozovic in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Dozovic sends Ciampa to the mat. Ciampa with a kick and side head lock. Dozovic with a shoulder tackle and a second one. Otis with an Irish whip that sends Ciampa over the top rope to the floor. Dozovic sends Ciampa back into the ring. Ciampa with a back elbow and he goes to the turnbuckles but Otis catches him and hits a spinning slam. Ciampa goes to the floor and Dozovic follows. Otis with a punch and forearm across the chest.

Dozovic with another forearm across the chest before they return to the ring. Ciampa with a front face lock but Dozovic back drops Ciampa over the top rope to the floor. Otis sets for a dive to the floor but he does the worm instead. Ciampa tries to pull Dozovic to the floor but Dozovic stands on Ciampa’s back. Ciampa with a forearm to the back of the head and then he slams Dozovic to the ramp.

Ciampa with forearms to the back as the referee starts her count. Ciampa hangs Dozovic over the apron and Ciampa with a running knee to the head for a near fall. Ciampa with a running knee to the head for a near fall. Ciampa with a neck breaker. CIampa with a sleeper and Otis backs Ciampa into the turnbuckles to escape the hold. Ciampa returns to the sleeper and Dozovic drops back to get out of the hold.

Dozovic with forearms and a shoulder into the corner. Ciampa with a knee. Dozovic with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Ciampa goes to the floor and he goes for Mr. Belt. Ciampa says he has had enough and goes up the ramp. Tucker Knight comes out and forces CIampa back to the ring but Dozovic with a clothesline on the ramp. They return to the ring and Otis with a splash into the corner and an overhead exploder. Otis with a second overhead exploder. Otis with an exploder on the floor. Dozovic with an elbow drop for a near fall.

Otis goes for a power bomb but Ciampa escapes and he rakes the eyes when the referee was out of position. Otis backs Ciampa into the corner. Dozovic with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Otis goes to the turnbuckles but Ciampa rolls to the apron. Ciampa with a DDT onto the apron and Dozovic falls to the floor. Ciampa sets for a DDT in the ropes and gets the three count.
