Tenille “Emma” Dashwood has a shoulder injury and will be undergoing surgery to repair it.
At last night’s ROH TV taping in Las Vega, she came out to the ring in a sling and said that she’s been wrestling with an injured shoulder for the past six months and would now be undergoing surgery. The injury is legit, according to PWInsider, and there’s currently no timetable for her return or any specifics about the severity or type of shoulder injury.
At the Death Before Dishonor PPV on Friday, Dashwood lost to Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai in a match where Sakai attacked her shoulder and won with an armbar submission. Later in the night, Dashwood was attacked backstage by a mystery person, which was a storyline meant to write her off of TV for a while.
Dashwood was offered an ROH contract before the injury and that’s not expected to change, according to PWInsider. She’s expected to sign soon, so she should be back after recovering from the surgery.
