Cody’s to Defend NWA Title
Cody Rhodes will defend his newly won NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against the man he won the title from, Nick Aldis, at the NWA’s 70th Anniversary show on Sunday, October 21 in Nashville, TN.
The show will be streamed live on FITE.tv for $24.99.
He’ll also be appearing in some form this Sunday at a Championship Wrestling from Hollywood show.

The Rock’s Fast & Furious Spinoff
“Hobbs and Shaw,” a Fast & Furious spinoff starring The Rock and Jason Statham, started production today.
The movie is set for a July 26, 2019 release in the US.
GLOW Wins Emmy Awards
Netflix’s GLOW won two Emmy awards over the weekend for:
– Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour or Less)
– Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or Variety Program
It’s also nominated for three other awards, which will be announced at the main award ceremony on September 17.
– Outstanding Comedy Series
– Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series
– Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series
