Upcoming Additions for the WWE Network

WWENetworkNews.com reported that this month’s additions to the WWE Network’s collection series will be one set based on Curt Hawkins titled Curt Hawkins: Nothing To Lose and another set based on the longtime Triple H vs. The Undertaker rivalry titled The Undertaker vs. Triple H. The Hawkins set will be released on September 17th and the Triple H vs. Undertaker set will be released on September 27th.

WWE announced a new Mick Foley special called Mick Foley: 20 Years of Hell will air on the WWE Network following the end of Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on September 16th. This special is from one event of Foley’s recent one-man show tour promoting the 20th anniversary of his Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker at WWF King of the Ring 1998.

WWE also announced that a new episode of WWE Story Time will air on the Network following the end of this Monday’s episode of RAW.


Lucha Underground Ratings – September 5, 2018

This week’s episode of Lucha Underground drew 100,000 viewers on the El Rey Network, up from last week’s 83,000 viewers.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

NJPW announced that tickets for next year’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 event will go on general sale starting on October 25th.

Ring of Honor announced that this year’s Final Battle pay-per-view event will be held on December 14th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York. Tickets for this event will be going on sale starting on September 12th for HonorClub members and September 14th for the general public.

Nick Aldis revealed on Twitter that the card for this Sunday’s Wrestling MediaCon event in Manchester, England features a NWA World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender match of Nick Aldis versus Doug Williams. The winner of this match will earn a title shot against champion Cody at next month’s NWA 70th Anniversary event.
