WWE is still planning on adding a more expensive tier with additional content to the WWE Network and it may be coming “sooner rather than later,” according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The expectation right now is that it would start in 2019.
It’s been seemingly coming soon for months, though, so who knows… The more expensive tier would likely include content from other wrestling promotions that have video libraries owned by WWE or otherwise have partnerships with WWE. Those would namely be UK promotions PROGRESS and Insane Championship Wrestling. WWE announced partnerships and control over their video libraries last year, but nothing has been done with the libraries yet.
