Braun Strowman seemed to be back to being a face at WWE house shows this weekend. After Drew McIntyre gave him a Claymore on Raw this past Monday, it seems that their alliance is done and Strowman is back to being a face or at least a “tweener.”
On Friday at a house show in Bangor, ME (and again on Sunday in Boston), Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler were disqualified in a tag match against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins after they hit them with chairs. As the heels were going to attack Ambrose and Rollins some more after the match, Braun Strowman’s music hit and he came out to make the save, taking out McIntyre and Ziggler, thus helping Ambrose and Rollins.
On Saturday in Hartford, CT, Strowman beat Ziggler in a singles match.
It’s probably for the best since Strowman was the most over guy in the company and the alliance with McIntyre and Ziggler kinda put a stop to that.
