Marko Stunt Suffers a Broken Leg in Canadian Destroyer Spot (Video) (Updated)

Up and coming indie wrestler Marko Stunt suffered a broken shin during a brutal Canadian Destroyer spot at tonight’s Joey Janela’s LA Confidential show, according to PWInsider.

During his match against Eli Everfly, a door was set up between two elevated areas, then Everfly hit a Canadian Destroyer through the door on Stunt. When he landed, his shins smashed badly against a stool or table.

The match was stopped and the PA announcer told the crowd to clear a path so that the “injured competitor” can get out of the building.

Joey Janela, who booked the show, said that he talked to Stunt and Stunt was “hurt but will be alright.” Unfortunately, he does have a broken shin.

Stunt, who is extremely fun to watch, has blown up on the indie wrestling scene recently and was part of All In in September. He also recently became a regular in Major League Wrestling. He’s known for taking a ton of punishment in the ring and doing a lot of “high risk maneuvers.”

Stunt confirmed that he broke his leg and said that he’s scheduled for surgery.
