WWE suffered a possible torn pectoral muscle during his match at Crown Jewel and will require surgery, WWE.com says.
During the epic showdown between D-Generation X and The Brothers of Destruction at WWE Crown Jewel, Triple H sustained what appears to be a torn pectoral muscle, WWE.com has learned.
As a result, The Game plans to return to the United States this week to undergo surgical repair.
Triple H was possibly injured early on when he was knocked over the top rope and fell to the outside. He missed a large chunk of the match, apparently because of the injury, leaving Shawn Michaels to wrestle for a while while Triple H was checked on at ringside. He was able to finish the match, though, and was involved in quite a few moves at the end, including hitting a Pedigree on Kane for the win.
Some quick searching on the Internet estimates that a torn pectoral muscle that requires surgery could be about a 5-6 month recovery time.
