AJ Styles Comments on Vince McMahon’s Expectations for His WWE Career

WWE recently released a new episode of WWE Network’s WWE 365 series featuring AJ Styles. One of the topics discussed included Styles revealing Vince McMahon’s expectations for his WWE career when he signed with the company in 2016.

“I was anxious, I was worried, what was expected of me. I talked to Vince. He goes, ‘We’ve got guys that can do what you do, that’s not a big deal. i need a pitbull.’ And I thought, ‘Oh! That’s who I am.'”


Rey Mysterio Files New Trademark

Rey Mysterio recently filed a new trademark to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, according to PWInsider.

A trademark for “Principe Mysterio” was filed on November 14th and speculation is that this is likely for his son Dominick when he begins his own wrestling career. Rey Mysterio translates to “King Mystery” in English and Principe Mysterio translates to Prince Mystery.


New Match Added for December’s MSG Event

WWE announced that John Cena & Finn Balor vs. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre has been added to the card of their December 26th Madison Square Garden house show in New York City. This event was originally scheduled to be a SmackDown branded house show before being changed into a RAW branded house show with a special NXT match included.

Indie Talent and Others on This Week’s WWE Shows

WWE used several local indie wrestlers for their shows in Los Angeles this week.

Eli Everfly made cameos on Survivor Series as a member of security and on SmackDown as “Dane Bryant” in the Bryant Brothers vs. The Miz & Shane McMahon tag match, which was won by the Bryant Brothers. “Wayne Bryant” was identified to be played by California-based wrestler Keita Murray.

Delilah Doom made a cameo on RAW as an extra in the backstage catering skit involving Drake Maverick and urine related jokes. Besides Doom, WWE Creative member Kazeem Famuyide was identified as the person who made the peas joke to Maverick and former Tough Enough contestant Eric Watts was identified as one of the extras used for the skit.

Fidel Bravo wrestled in a tag match on this week’s 205 Live, losing to Akira Tozawa & The Brian Kendrick.
