Impact Wrestling Announces Move to New TV Channel Next Month

Impact announced that they’re officially moving from Pop TV to Pursuit Channel starting on January 11.

The show will also move to Fridays at 10 PM ET. When SmackDown moves to FOX in October, it will also air on Fridays, which may be a reason for Impact’s new day and time slot, to capture wrestling fans who were already watching SmackDown.

Impact’s parent company, Anthem, has a “significant minority investment” in the channel, which is focused on hunting and fishing.

The channel is available in fewer homes than Pop and is not available on most cable providers. It is available on DirecTV, DISH, Verizon FiOS and Cox. But they also have an on demand service called PursuitUp, which appears to offer their shows for free. So Impact could end up on there, but maybe days after it airs.
