It was a really weird way to announce it, but WWE announced tonight on Raw that there will be women’s tag team championships coming next year.
Vince McMahon, dressed as Santa Claus, made the announcement in a brief comedy segment on tonight’s Christmas eve Raw, simply saying, “Coming next year, we’re gonna have new tag team champions of the women’s division.”
Here’s how some wrestlers reacted:
“It’s not a dream anymore, it’s worth fighting for”. And we did, we will, and we won’t stop. #WomensTagTeamChampionships pic.twitter.com/0QIrkpCgjm
