Daniel Bryan Unveils New “100% Sustainable, Organic Hemp” WWE Title (Photos, Video)

Daniel Bryan thew the old WWE Championship in the trash on SmackDown and unveiled a new, “100% sustainable, organic hemp” title “carved from a naturally fallen oak.” It is brilliant and you can check out a video below.

Bryan: “Do you see this? [Leather WWE Championship belt] This is a symbol. It is a symbol of excellence. But it is also a symbol of excess. It’s gaudy, it’s made from cheap labor and worst of all, it is bound to the skin of a cow whose life was taken from her. I like to give that cow a name. In my mind, the cow whose life was taken, her name was Daisy. And you see, Daisy had the ability to feel immense joy, which unfortunately she didn’t get to experience much of in this life. Daisy also had the ability to feel insufferable pain, which unfortunately she did feel. And Daisy was forced to give her life for this symbol. For this symbol! And this symbol is the very thing that Rowan and I stand against! This symbol!”

Bryan threw the WWE title in the trash.

Bryan: “This… is trash. I said when I became the WWE Champion that I was going to change the world, but to change the world, we need new symbols!”

Rowan handed him a sash and Bryan unveiled the new title.

Bryan: “This is the new symbol of excellence. This is your new WWE Championship! This is made from 100% sustainable, organic hemp. Carved from a naturally fallen oak!”
