Triple H did a media call earlier today, taking various questions. Here are a few of the highlights:
AEW
When asked if AEW will change anything that WWE does, Triple H said:
It’s clearly something that we’ll keep an eye on and clearly something that they’re out there doing their business, but we’ll do what is right for our business, what we feel is right for WWE, what’s right for the fans. We’ll continue to monitor everything and we say it all the time, but it’s the truth – It’s not just a competitor like that. We compete against everything. In the business world today, when you’re a content provider, you compete against everything including sleep, the internet, everything else. You wanna keep your eye on everything and try to be as relevant as possible at all times in every front. So we continue to monitor that. We monitor everything and we continue to do what’s best for business for WWE.
Lars Sullivan
When asked about Lars Sullivan:
There’s a lot of speculation and stories about everybody at all times. And it’s a funny thing. If there’s any kind of a glitch in… a movement, for a moment, it leads to everything being speculated about. There’s a lot of talk but Lars is in a good place and nothing has really changed. We’re moving forward and you’ll know when you see it. Nothing has changed.
How His Rehab Is Going
Just got cleared to actually start training, which if anybody that’s had a serious injury… The difference between rehabbing for a couple of hours a day and actually training is the difference of trying to get better and actually bettering yourself. So I just got clearance to start training training, so I’m excited about that and as I sit here right now, extremely sore from that training, which was one week ago I got the clearance, so the training has been already stepped up. But feeling good.
