WWE 205 Live Update

As noted before, 205 Live returned this week to its usual Tuesday 10PM ET time slot on the WWE Network following a brief stint on Wednesdays due to the second season of Mixed Match Challenge.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that it was Vince McMahon who made the official decision for the show to resume airing live again on Tuesdays. It was reported that this was due to Vince wanting to have a steady amount of weekly live programming for the WWE Network even if it meant the return of weaker crowd reactions for 205 Live (compared to when it was taped before SmackDown), as was the case with this week’s episode.

Ronda Rousey Revealed as the Voice Actor of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios held a livestream event yesterday for Mortal Kombat 11 featuring several new game announcements and trailers. One of the new announcements included Ronda Rousey being revealed as the voice actor of Sonya Blade in the game.

In an interview held at the event, Rousey stated working on the game was “dream come true” moment in her life.

“I’ve been a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan, and Sonya Blade was the first kick-ass, female video game character that I related to. Now I get to voice her in Mortal Kombat 11. It’s a dream come true to be a part of the Mortal Kombat franchise that I grew up playing.”

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently scheduled to be released on April 23rd for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
