Brie Bella Says That She’s Retired

On last night’s episode of Total Bellas on E!, Brie Bella announced that she is now “fully retired” as of the Evolution PPV in October.

On the episode, which was recorded before Evolution, Brie made an announcement to her family, saying, “Bryan and I have an announcement. So I decided that after Evolution, I’m gonna be fully retired. Fully done, and Bryan and I are looking for a house in Phoenix cause we’re moving back.”

In the episode, Nikki Bella seemed surprised and said that “I always thought that retirement would be something Brie and I would talk about together. I just did not expect this big change after such an incredible comeback.”

In 2016, Brie took an extended break to start a family. She returned with Nikki Bella last year, but it looks like Evolution may have been her final show. Brie accompanied Nikki Bella to the ring during Nikki’s match against Ronda Rousey at the show. Brie’s last match was on the October 8 episode of Raw, where the Bella Twins teamed with Ronda Rousey to face The Riott Squad.
