Current Match Plans for IYO SKY for WrestleMania 42
Bodyslam+ reported that their sources stated that there has been internal discussions within WWE about plans for IYO SKY to face off against Asuka in a match for this April’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was reported that WWE officials have intentionally avoided having long periods of in-ring action between Asuka and SKY due to this match being currently scheduled for WrestleMania.
It was also reported that there have been some recent internal discussions and support about potentially adding Kairi Sane and making the match into a Triple Threat instead for WrestleMania.
SKY has been feuding on and off with The Kabuki Warriors in recent months that originated with The Kabuki Warriors turning on SKY during their time together in Damage CTRL. The Kabuki Warriors themselves have also been dealing with growing friction within over Asuka’s constant bullying and insulting towards Sane in recent months.
WWE Reportedly Considering Adding Stipulations to Planned Matches for WrestleMania 42
WWE reportedly is currently considering plans to potentially add stipulations to several of their planned matches for this April’s WrestleMania 42 event, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials are considering these changes to maximize the event’s appeal and to convert casual viewers watching the “preview” windows on traditional television into paid streaming subscribers.
It was reported that one specific strategy involves adding a stipulation to the opening bout that would be airing on ESPN’s channels. The idea reportedly being to create a “hook” or eye-catching match during this free-to-air portion of the event for potential subscribers and drive them towards the full broadcast on ESPN’s streaming service.

Rumor Killer on Tyra Mae Steele Being Released
WWE EVOLVE and NXT talent Tyra Mae Steele posted a tweet earlier today announcing that she had been released from WWE. Steele had stated that this was due to her working Olympic wrestling during her weekend off from WWE and the company being upset about it. Making the situation more peculiar was Steele also included a poll asking fans to vote if this was a nightmare or a dream leading to some online confusion if she had actually been released or not.

Fightful Select reported that their sources within WWE stated that Steele was not actually released from the company and confirmed what she was describing was literally just a dream she recently had.
In a follow-up tweet, Steele clarified the situation and confirmed that she was not released from WWE.
