In a video on Twitter, Matt Hardy said that tomorrow night on SmackDown, the Hardy Boyz “will address the online rumors” and “will let you know what the status of Jeff Hardy is.”

Jeff suffered a right knee injury at a house show last Saturday in Madison, WI and hasn’t wrestled since. He showed up at a house show the next night in Matt’s corner at ringside and was limping badly.
The severity of the injury is not known right now, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief among some people in WWE who “need to know for storyline reasons” is that Jeff is scheduled for surgery this week after SmackDown.
The Hardys just won the SmackDown Tag Team titles from The Usos three weeks ago on SmackDown.
