Match Producers for NXT TakeOver: New York

The following WWE backstage agents reportedly were the match producers for NXT TakeOver: New York, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Terry Taylor was the producer for the NXT Tag Team Championship match of Ricochet & Black vs. War Raiders (c), Matt Bloom for the NXT North American Championship match of Matt Riddle vs. Velveteen Dream (c), Johnny Moss for the WWE United Kingdom Championship match of WALTER vs. Pete Dunne (c), and Sara Amato for the NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-way match of Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair vs. Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler (c).

Micheal Hayes reportedly was the main event match producer for the NXT Championship Best 2-out-of-3 Falls match of Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole.

Randy Orton Tattoo Lawsuit Update

As noted before, Randy Orton’s tattoo artist filed a lawsuit last year against WWE, Take-Two Interactive, 2K Games, and several others in regards of allegations of copyright infringement. The tattoo artist, Catherine Alexander, is claiming that she never gave permission for her designs to appear in WWE’s video games series featuring Randy Orton as an in-game character.

PWInsider reported that a settlement conference had been originally scheduled to take place last month but was canceled due to the court ruling that it was very unlikely any settlement would be reached.

It was also reported that the trial was also originally scheduled to take place later this year but has now been delayed till April 27, 2020 due to the retirement of the original presiding judge of the case.

PROGRESS Wrestling announced that Jimmy Havoc will be making his final appearance for the company at their upcoming Super Strong Style 16 2019 tournament, which takes place from May 4th to May 6th in London, England.

NJPW announced a new event for their upcoming two-day Southern Showdown tour of Australia. This new event will take place on June 29th at the University of New South Wales Roundhouse in Sydney, Australia.

ROH announced a new match for the card of their May 12th ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds 2019 event in Villa Park, Illinois:
