Various: Arn Anderson on WWE Departure, AJ Styles Injury Update, Best of Super Jrs Night 11

Arn Anderson Comments on His WWE Departure

Starrcast held their Starrcast II convention this past weekend and one of their panels featured Arn Anderson as the guest. One of the topics discussed by Anderson included him revealing that he felt unwanted in WWE and the legal issues surrounding his departure from the company.

“I wish I could talk about it but the fact is, I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement when I left. You’re going to hear a lot of stuff online but don’t believe everything you hear. The people that know me, know the situation. I’m not [upset about leaving]. It was a great, stable environment for my family and myself but it’s a difficult place to work. The pressure is unbelievable. The hours are unbelievable. The travel is something. I don’t want to be anywhere where I’m not wanted. After 37 years, I think I deserve more than that.”

AJ Styles Injury Status Update

As noted before, WWE announced during Monday’s episode of RAW that AJ Styles recently suffered an injury and was pulled from the Fatal Four-Way match to determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship match at Super ShowDown.

Following the end of the show, Styles provided an official update on the status of his injury on his MIXER channel.

“I’ve got something going on with my AC joint. It’s rubbing up against bone and we thought I had a fracture. It may not be the case, which is a good thing. It may require a shot to keep the swelling down. It’s not a major injury. It’s just wear and tear. Hopefully, it doesn’t keep me out for very long. I can’t stand being out but I haven’t had rest in a long time. So I’m going to take time to rest my body so I can be back. WWE has made sure we’ve dealt with this injury properly. Trust me, I want to be back. I want to earn my money.”
