Bayley on Becoming SmackDown Women’s Champion and Women’s Grand Slam Champion

Natalya held a recent interview with Bayley for the Calgary Sun and some of the topics discussed included Bayley’s thoughts on becoming SmackDown Women’s champion and being the first ever women’s Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

“I’ve always been one to make the most of any opportunity I have received in WWE. Cashing in that briefcase was the first time I took a chance and created an opportunity for myself and it felt so good. I felt reconnected with the fans and with myself. I felt like I am right where I need to be and all of my hard work paid off.”

“I hope that by becoming the first ever women’s grand slam champion, it not only pushes our entire roster to be better but inspires our fans around the world to chase whatever dreams it is that they have. No dream is too big to conquer.”

Opposition Filed for Starrcast’s Undertaker Trademark

Starrcast’s trademark for “Dead Man Talking” reportedly is currently facing opposition by two companies, according to PWInsider.

PWInsider’s Steven Fernandes reported that audio production company Audioboom was recently granted a 30-day extension by the United States Patent and Trademark Office to file an opposition to Starrcast’s trademark. It was reported that Audioboom now has until July 20th to file their opposition and the reason for their involvement is due to their production on a podcast show called “Dead Man Talking”.

Fernandes also reported that WWE was granted a 90-day extension by the USPTO to officially file an opposition to Starrcast’s Undertaker-related trademark. It was reported that they now have until September 18th to do so.

Prior to Undertaker being pulled from the convention, Starrcast had planned to hold a panel at Starrcast II called “Dead Man Talking” with the Undertaker as the guest.
