NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 2019 Tournament Update; Replacements Announced
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that due to a recent broken jaw injury suffered by El Desperado and visa issues with Flip Gordon, both wrestlers have been pulled from the field of this year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
It was also announced that Ren Narita and DOUKI will be the official replacements for El Desperado and Gordon in this year’s tournament.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) reportedly have sold around 1,800 tickets for their Madison Square Garden event on September 15th, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
As of last week’s Wrestling Dontaku events, New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly has around 120,000 total subscribers for their New Japan World streaming service, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer reported that this is the highest ever amount of subscribers in the history of the service and unlike previous years, the subscriber base has remained at a steady level since Wrestle Kingdom 13.
WrestlePro announced that Rhyno will be making an appearance for the company at their September 14th event in Rahway, New Jersey.
