New Match Announced for AEW Double or Nothing

Oriental Wrestling Entertainment announced that T-Hawk and El Lindaman will be CIMA’s partners for his upcoming Six-Man tag team match against SoCal Uncensored at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event on May 25th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WWE Interviewed Dixie Carter for Several Upcoming WWE Documentaries

Dixie Carter reportedly was invited to WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut last week to work on several upcoming documentaries for the company, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer reported that Carter was seen being interviewed for several documentaries planned for either WWE Network or DVD home video releases in the future.


Sinclair Broadcasting Deal with Disney for Fox Sports Net TV Stations Update

As noted before, Sinclair Broadcasting reached a preliminary deal with Disney in regards to the purchase of Fox Sports Net television stations. Ring of Honor is currently expected to benefit from this deal with an expanded national television presence due to Sinclair being their parent company.

Sinclair (via PWInsider) announced that they have recently signed an official deal with Disney for the purchase of 21 Fox Sports Net regional television stations for $10.6 billion. This deal was announced to have been signed last Friday and these new stations will be handled by Sinclair’s newly formed Diamond Sports Group LLC subsidiary.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Major League Wrestling reportedly have delayed all plans to hold another event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this year, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that MLW’s next event in the city is now scheduled to take place no earlier than 2020.

Impact Wresting announced that they will be holding an event called A Night You Can’t Mist on June 8th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Great Muta was announced to making an appearance for the company at this event.

ROH and NWA announced a new match for the card of ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds 2019 event on May 12th in Chicago, Illinois:

Westside Xtreme Wrestling announced a new match for the card of their May 31st Road to Superstars of Wrestling event in Munster, Germany:
