Here’s what the card will probably look like for NXT TakeOver: Toronto after the past two nights of NXT TV tapings (night one results, night two results).
TakeOver will take place on SummerSlam weekend, August 10 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Officially Announced Matches
NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Mia Yim
NXT Tag Team Championship: Street Profits (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish
Possible Matches
NXT Championship: Adam Cole (c) vs. Johnny Gargano – Cole and Gargano continued their feud at the tapings, appearing to set up another match.
NXT North American Championship: Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Pete Dunne vs. Roderick Strong – Dunne defeated Strong at the tapings, so it could also just be Dream vs. Dunne.
NXT Breakout Tournament Finals: Cameron Grimes (Trevor Lee) vs. Jordan Myles (ACH) – It’s not clear if this will happen at TakeOver, but when Myles won his semi-finals match, he shouted “I’m going to TakeOver” in celebration.
Matt Riddle vs. Killian Dain – Dain attacked Riddle twice, clearly setting up a match at some point. Whether it will happen at TakeOver or on regular NXT TV remains to be seen.
Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae – Shirai turned on LeRae, setting up a match at some point. This will almost definitely happen on TV and not at TakeOver.
