Viewer Number Expectations
People in the television industry are estimating that AEW’s debut episode on TNT will draw 400,000-500,000 viewers, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
That sounds low to me, especially for a debut episode, but the hope is that AEW will grow their audience over time.
As late as spring of 2018, Impact was drawing over 350,000 viewers on Pop, which is a much smaller station than TNT.
