A recent episode of the AEW Up Close with Renee Paquette show featured Jon Moxley as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Moxley’s thoughts about his praise of fellow Death Riders member Marina Shafir and his belief that Shafir is someone that every wrestler in the pro wrestling industry should work as hard as her.
“If every wrestler in this sport worked as hard every single day as Marina Shafir, everybody would be a thousand times better. The work ethic that she has, the approach to this game, living the life, not just talking about it, but living it. Living the life of a professional athlete, a professional wrestler.”
Moxley also gave his thoughts about his praise of Konosuke Takeshita’s work in AEW ahead of their No Time Limit match for the AEW Continental Championship at AEW’s Revolution 2026 event.
“[Konosuke] Takeshita, especially over the last year or two, has impressed me a great deal. I think probably Takeshita might be the best guy in AEW.”
