Here are the changes to the NXT TakeOver: Toronto card that were announced on today’s NXT episode:
– A triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship was announced, with Velveteen Dream defending his title against Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne.
– A tag team title match was announced, with the Street Profits defending against Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly.
– Two stipulations were announced for Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano’s 2-out-of-3 falls NXT Championship match. Gargano chose a street fight for his stipulation while Cole chose a “classic, old-school wrestling match” for his. If the match goes to three falls, William Regal will choose the stipulation for the third fall.
NXT TakeOver: Toronto will take place on SummerSlam weekend, Saturday, August 10 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
