Tegan Nox Appears to Be Close to Returning From Injury

Tegan Nox appears to be close to returning from the terrible left leg injury that she suffered at the Mae Young Classic in August of last year.

On Instagram today, she made a post with the caption, “Put me in coach, I’m ready to play! πŸ€™πŸΌ #FasterStrongerShinier”

She has also been posting a weekly count down for the past month, which hit “0” today.

The injury happened at the Mae Young Classic tapings on August 10, so she has been out for almost a year.

She was reportedly originally booked to either go to the finals or win the entire tournament. Toni Storm defeated Io Shirai in the finals.

She detailed the injury, which she suffered during a suicide dive to the outside, on Twitter, saying, β€œI was diagnosed with numerous injuries to the left leg which included: dislocated knee cap (luckily it reset itself instantly), torn MCL & LCL, I completely tore my ACL and both meniscus, bone contusions and I had a Segond Fracture on my left tibia… Basically my knee exploded and I made a huge mess!!”
