AEW Reveals Tully Blanchard as Shawn Spears’ Manager

All Elite Wrestling released the first episode of their Road to All Out series featuring an interview with Shawn Spears by Jim Ross.

At the end of the interview, Spears made an official challenge to Cody Rhodes at AEW’s All Out event on August 31st. Spears also revealed that Tully Blanchard will be his manager at the event.

Eric Bischoff WWE Status Update

As noted before, WWE announced that they recently hired Eric Bischoff to become the Executive Director of SmackDown Live. While Bischoff was expected to begin his duties at last night’s episode of SmackDown, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Bischoff was not backstage and had no involvement with last night’s show.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Eric Bischoff will officially begin his job as the Executive Director of SmackDown starting tomorrow at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
