The former Enzo Amore (now going by “nZo”) will return to the ring to wrestle in his first match since being released by WWE in January of 2018.
He’ll wrestle against a still unannounced opponent on Friday, August 16 at Northeast Wrestling’s “Prison Break” show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Though he has made a few appearances at wrestling shows, most notably at the ROH show in April, this will be his first actual match since January 21, 2018, when he defeated Cedric Alexander at a 205 Live house show, which happened to be at the same arena in Poughkeepsie.
I’m going back to the #MidHudsonCivicCenter the same place where I got in the ring for the last time, and I’m going back to defend what I never lost. I’ll haven’t agreed upon an opponent yet….. but I have a few in mind. #BestCruiserWeightInTheWorld https://t.co/5LDyF5sHxw pic.twitter.com/FrhxlD3b3q

Also booked for the Northeast Wrestling show is Jon Moxley vs. Pentagon. Big Cass (as “cazXL”) is also being advertised, as is Dustin Rhodes, Jerry Lawler, LA Park and more.
Enzo will also accompany Cass to the ring as Cass wrestles Jon Moxley at a Northeast Wrestling show the next day, August 17.
