Rumor: Did Daniel Bryan Attack Roman Reigns?

It looks like Daniel Bryan may be revealed as the person involved in trying to attack Roman Reigns on SmackDown on Tuesday, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and the angle was reportedly done to set up a Reigns vs. Bryan match at SummerSlam.

At the end of the show, Reigns was shown walking backstage when scaffolding fell on him, though he was able to escape unscathed.

Reigns has been feuding with Samoa Joe for the past couple of weeks, so Reigns vs. Joe seemed like the match that was going to happen at SummerSlam, but that apparently isn’t happening.

WWE has been teasing a “career-altering announcement” from Daniel Bryan for the past three weeks, so this angle could be related to that too.
