El Hijo del Fantasma, also known as King Cuerno in Lucha Underground, is expected to sign with WWE and start at the Performance Center in September, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The Observer added that “there have been rumblings of a number of major names” also starting at the WWE PC in September.
WWE has been very high on Cuerno since the first season of Lucha Underground, liking both his wrestling ability and the fact that he speaks perfect English. He was finally given his release from Lucha Underground in March after filing a lawsuit against them.
He wrestled in CMLL from 2008-2013 and Lucha Libre AAA from 2013 until his departure in March 2019.
