Hacksaw Jim Duggan was hospitalized earlier today due to a severe infection, according to statements released by Duggan’s family.
Duggan’s wife Debra posted on Instagram that Duggan underwent two emergency surgeries within the past 24 hours to deal with the infection. Debra Duggan also stated that Duggan will remain hospitalized for at least a few more days but doctors currently believe that they were able to remove all of the infection.
As a result of his current medical condition, Duggan’s family stated that he will be unable to appear at any of his scheduled autographs sessions this weekend.
Duggan was previously hospitalized in March of this year for a routine heart procedure and in late November 2018 due to chest and heart-related issues.
