WWE and AEW File New Trademarks & Update on WWE’s New Show Trademark

WWE and AEW recently filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

WWE

Trademarks for “Rhea Ripley”, “Steve Cutler”, and “Rik Bugez” were filed on September 20th for wrestling-related purposes.

Trademarks for “Total Bellas” and “Lasskicker” were filed on September 20th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.

As noted before, WWE recently filed a trademark for “WWE’s The Bump” for a potential new series. A Twitter account for the new series was created yesterday by the company and included a tweet containing an audition video featuring Evan Mack, former host of Afterbuzz TV, meant to be “for internal use only.” The video also teased that this new digital series is officially called “The Bump” and will be premiering next Wednesday at 10AM EST.

A trademark for “A Little Bit of the Bubbly” was filed on September 18th for merchandise-related purposes. This was a catchphrase made famous by Chris Jericho following his AEW World Championship at All Out and quickly became a big hit as an online wrestling meme.
