WWE Announces 205 Live’s Move to Fridays, But It May Only Be Temporary

WWE officially announced that 205 Live will be moving to Fridays at 10 PM ET on the WWE Network starting this week.

So for now, the show will continue to take place live after SmackDown.

It’s still not clear how long this move will last. As of last week, the move to Fridays was said to be temporary until WWE figured out what to do with the show, Dave Meltzer reported. There were several ideas being considered, including eliminating the show completely, and/or folding it into the NXT brand.

Beginning this Friday, Oct. 4, The Most Exciting Hour on Television is moving to Friday nights. As part of WWE Premiere Week, the home of the Cruiserweights —WWE 205 Live — is moving to Fridays at 10/9 C, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

At the conclusion of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, tune in to WWE Network to see WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak, Oney Lorcan, Humberto Carrillo, Tony Nese and all your favorite Cruiserweights in an hour of action that will leave you breathless.
