During a media scrum at Starrcast on Friday, Luchasaurus provided an update on his hamstring injury that he suffered last month and said that he expects to be back in action in January at the latest.
As far as what doctors have been saying about me, they’re saying it’s a muscle injury, not a tendon injury, which means it’s up in the air. Sometimes these things heal in three to four weeks, sometimes it’s three to four months.
I’m hoping, based on the therapy that I’m doing and seeing the doctor every week, that the latest possible that I will be ready to return to AEW’s standard of what they want from me would be January, the first week. That’s the latest. I’m hoping to come back earlier than that. That’s my latest timetable, so it’s not gonna be until like mid-April or anything originally reported. Hopefully sometime this year but definitely January at the latest.
