Randy Orton Signs New Five-Year Contract With WWE

Randy Orton has re-signed with WWE, signing a new multi-year deal. The news was first reported by PWInsider.

Orton confirmed on Twitter that he has signed for five more years.

The news was also announced on tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage.

Orton’s previous contract was signed in 2010 and was reportedly for 10 years in length, meaning that it was set to expire in 2020.

Last month, Orton teased signing with AEW on his Instagram account, which was likely to gain leverage over WWE during contract negotiations.

Orton, 39, has been with WWE for essentially his entire pro wrestling career, signing with the company in 2001 when he was 20 years old.
