Nick Jackson wrestled with the flu last night on AEW Dynamite, but still managed to make it seem like nothing was wrong, wrestling at his usual fast pace, hitting several high flying moves, and going through tables.
The Young Bucks defeated Santana & Ortiz in a “Texas Street Fight” in the Dynamite main event last night via a Meltzer Driver on Ortiz.
Matt Jackson said after the match that his brother Nick “laid on the floor in our locker room all day, suffering a terrible flu, then popped up & put in that gutsy performance tonight.”
Nick laid on the floor in our locker room all day, suffering a terrible flu, then popped up & put in that gutsy performance tonight. He won’t say it, so I’ll do it for him. Proud he’s my brother & tag team partner.

Dave Meltzer added that Nick said that it was “the hardest match that he was ever in” because of how sick he felt. He was on the ground all day with “the shakes,” according to Meltzer, who added that everyone was telling him to not wrestle, but he refused to miss the match.
