USA Network Airing WWE Network Specials

The WWE 24: NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn documentary special drew 367,000 viewers on USA Network this past Wednesday. The special focused on the first ever NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event, which was held in August 2015 and is considered by WWE to be the start of NXT’s major success as a brand.

PWInsider reported that USA Network will be airing another WWE 24 special following the end of the December 18th episode of NXT. This will be the WWE 24: Becky Lynch: The Man documentary special, which originally aired on the WWE Network this past May.


Kacy Catanzaro WWE Status Update

As noted before, Kacy Catanzaro has been considering the idea of leaving WWE and retiring from wrestling, and has been away from the WWE Performance Center for several months.

Squared Circle Sirens’ Casey Michael reported that Catanzaro was seen at WWE’s Performance Center this past Thursday and had a meeting with WWE’s head trainer Matt Bloom. No other details are known at this time.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

A documentary based on former WCW World champion Dave Arquette’s return to wrestling is currently in production, according to The Wrap. The documentary is titled You Cannot Kill David Arquette and is being produced by XTR studios.

The National Wrestling Alliance announced that Tasha Steelz will be making her official debut for the company at their Into the Fire event this Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia. It was also announced that Steelz will be facing off against Thunder Rosa in a singles match at the event.

Major League Wrestling announced that CIMA, T-Hawk, and El Lindaman will be making an appearance for the company at their Fightland 2020 event on February 1st in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

MLW also announced a new match for the card of their Zero Hour event on January 11th in Richland Hills, Texas:
