Cain Velasquez
Cain Velasquez’s next WWE booking is for the Royal Rumble on January 27, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Velasquez was set to wrestle at a WWE house show in Mexico City last month, but that never happened. He’s reportedly been dealing with a bad knee.
He last appeared at Crown Jewel on Halloween in a loss to Brock Lesnar.
The Revival
The current plan is for The Revival to be turned into comedy characters, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. But there are “mixed feelings” within WWE and there’s a chance that the idea is scrapped.
On last Friday’s SmackDown, Dash Wilder fell during his entrance. That apparently was planned and was supposed to be the start of the new direction for their characters, the Observer says.

The Revival’s contracts reportedly expire some time around April-June 2020 and they have not agreed to a new deal after they requested their releases in January.
