WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia is currently scheduled for Thursday, February 20, according to PWInsider. Dave Meltzer added that he has heard February 20 or February 27 as possible dates.
No other details are available yet but an official announcement is expected soon.
After the Royal Rumble on January 26, WWE’s next currently scheduled PPV is Elimination Chamber on March 8 in Philadelphia.
WWE’s last Saudi show, Crown Jewel on October 31, led to most of the WWE roster being stranded in Saudi Arabia, causing them to miss SmackDown the next day. The February 20 show would also be on a Thursday.
A couple of days after the last show, WWE announced that they “expanded their partnership” with Saudi Arabia to include two shows per year.
The reported February show would be the fifth show in WWE’s 10-year big-money deal with the brutally repressive Saudi monarchy.
