Edge signed a new WWE contract this past fall, believed to be for three years, and made his WWE in-ring return for the first time since 2011 at the Royal Rumble this Sunday.
Edge’s contract is believed to be for three years at $3 million per year, according to a report by talkSPORT.
According to the report, he has committed to wrestling in five matches this year – including the Royal Rumble – and he will be “paid in full” as long as he wrestles three times per year.
Additionally, the contract calls for him to make 25 total appearances per year, so it looks like he’ll be on TV quite often if the report is accurate.
Prior to signing, Edge also negotiated with AEW, using them as leverage to get a big contract from WWE.
