Samoa Joe was legitimately injured tonight on Raw during his tag team match with Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.
The injury happened when Joe tried a suicide dive to the outside on Murphy, but landed pretty badly and immediately grabbed his head. He didn’t return for the rest of the match and Owens wrestled 1 on 2 for several minutes, with everyone involved calling the rest of the match on the fly, according to PWInsider.
The injury was “100% legitimate” and was not part of the match, PWInsider says, adding that WWE medical personnel made a decision to remove him from the match.
He was being checked out backstage by medical staff for any potential injuries.
Samoa Joe landed head first on this dive outside the ring.
