WWE Network Airing New Episode of WWE Chronicle During WrestleMania 36 Weekend

WWE announced during this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE Backstage that a new episode of their WWE Chronicle documentary series will be airing on the WWE Network on April 4th.

This episode will focus on Drew McIntyre’s victory at this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble event and his journey leading to WrestleMania 36.


WWE Announces Dates and Talent for July’s Japan Tour

WWE announced that they will be making their return to Japan this July featuring talent from both the RAW and SmackDown brands.

This tour will take place from July 2nd to July 4th in both Osaka and Yokohama, Japan. The July 2nd house show event will be taking place at the Edion Arena in Osaka while the July 3rd and July 4th house show events will be taking place at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama.

Currently announced to be appearing on the tour are Shinsuke Nakamura, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Kabuki Warriors, Charlotte, The O.C, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Andrade.


Several New Wrestling Trademarks Filed

Shawn Spears, Lance Archer, and indie wrestling promotion House of Glory recently filed new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A trademark for “The Reaper” was filed by Shawn Spears on January 23rd for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.

A trademark for “Lance Archer” was filed by Lance Archer on January 23rd for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes.

House of Glory filed a trademark for their logo on January 20th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Impact announced that Amazing Red and Disco Inferno will be making an appearance for the company at their TNA: There’s No Place Like Home event on April 3rd in Tampa, Florida.

The National Wrestling Alliance announced a new match with a special stipulation for the card of their Crockett Cup 2020 event this April in Atlanta, Georgia:
– NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship – Marty Scurll vs. Nick Alids (c). If Scurll loses, he must write a check to refund the entire cost of the live attendance for the event.

WrestleCon announced the first match for the card of their Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow 2020 event on April 2nd in Tampa, Florida:
– Shingo Takagi vs. Bandido

Ring of Honor announced a new match for the card of their Bound By Honor 2020 event on February 28th in Nashville, Tennessee:
– Rey Horus vs. Alex Shelly
