Samoa Joe Suspended for WWE Wellness Policy Violation

Samoa Joe has been suspended for 30 days effective Monday, February 24 for a first violation of WWE’s wellness policy, WWE announced today.

Joe is the fourth wrestler to be suspended for violating WWE’s wellness policy in the past couple of months. Robert Roode and Primo Colon were suspended in December and Andrade was suspended last month.

Earlier this month, there was a rumor that Joe was about to be suspended for a wellness policy violation, but WWE sources “vociferously” denied the rumor.

Joe has been out of action in the past couple of weeks with a concussion.
